as a reminder: other CS classes today released many assignments to be canceled / optional, and final exams to also be optional / canceled (CS106B, CS106A, CS110, CS103, and others)

if you have any other faculty members you trust, especially CS faculty / administration, please also cc them on the email or ask for them to advocate on our behalf. i cannot believe the words i am typing right now but please take the time to advocate on students' behalf who cannot be here today because they are grieving, outside on the streets, experiencing police brutality, or many of the other things i cannot possibly bring myself to type right now
